What is Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy?
Currently, LGMD has no FDA approved treatments. The Speak Foundation convened the LGMD Scientific Workshop in 2024. Scientists and leading experts all around the country met with key leaders in the FDA to share the latest research on many forms of LGMD that are in clinical trials. This monumental event spurred the Expert Act currently a bill in Congress.
